You start and end this tour using a safari vehicle throughout the itinerary. This is a southern circuit safari and it starts from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi national park then to the Selous game reserve. Mikumi national park is the closest park to Dar es Salaam and is well known for its large population of wildlife such as elephants and among predators in residence are tree-climbing lions. Next you visit the Selous game reserve which is Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve that covers more than 5% of the country’s total area. The park is located in a remote and hardly visited part of the country where visitors can see a wild and expansive part of Africa.
